What have you learnt in the past month? I have learnt in the past month to work indapendently and work with my class mates very well. Also that the British were a very strong country. And that the English took the land of the Aboriginals (captian Cook).
What did you do to help yourself learn? Listen, Respect others, Study, Be confident
What did you do that made it difficult for you to learn well? Talk when the teacher is speaking (sometimes).
Who did you work with? Were these effective (good) working relationships? Class mates, yes they were good effective working relationships.
How did you go with meeting your goals for the semester? Good
During the past few weeks: I have learnt aboutthe first fleet. I most enjoyed the SOSE class onthe Tall ships. My attitude hasgone better towards education. My behaviour hasbeen acceptable. My interim report in the subject indicated that I I have workedhard towards my learning. I have notconcentrated my best sometimes. My greatest strengthis to hand in all my work that is due.
The two areas of my learning that I want to focus on improving are: 1. Listening to the teacher more. 2. Focus on my learning more. I am happy withmy friends.
During the Aboriginal unit I most enjoyed our SOSE class on- Watching the movie rabbit proof fence. During the Aboriginal unit I least enjoyed the SOSE class on- nothing SOSE (Me and My World) is- a good subject because I get to learn new things. During this first semester in SOSE I have- learnt about the first fleet and some about aboriginals. I work best when- I am not distracted by others. I have not- bothered anybody. I wish that- I get good grades for this subject. My attitude to homework has been- fairly ok. My Semester 1 report will show that- sometimes I get distracted but other then that I’m good. The area/s in which I have shown greatest improvement- is coming class on time. My teacher always- expects good work from me/ my best. My teacher makes me- work hard. I think that our class wiki is- going well. High Expectations means- Focusing and doing your best. I have shown high expectations when I- have a task to do/ sometimes. A second example of how I have demonstrated high expectations is- My Essay on the European settlement.

In which area do you believe you have made your greatest improvement? I believe that my greatest improvement was working with a group of people.
What are two weaknesses you need to continue to work on? Concentrate more in class and always try my best to the set task.
I have most enjoyed workingwith my class mates. I have learnedto try to my best of my ability to all work that has been set. I have shown high expectationswhen I concentrate and don’t get distracted by what’s around me. Yes, I am on track to achieving my semester 2 goals in this subject, I think I am coming to class on time, I have high expectation for the work I get, and I am hoping to pass this subject.
